Newborn Photographer Cypress TX, Time Out!

More than a photographer, I am a mom. I love being a mom! The pride I feel in my children is more than anything in the world! I remember from a young age always knowing that I would eventually want to have children, because, yep.. I've always loved babies! I'm the youngest in my family, I have two older brothers, so I never knew what it was like to have a younger sibling. I remember BEGGING my parents for a little sister; they would look at me, smile and say "sorry, we're done!" lol. -much like I do with my youngest now when he says he wants a little brother or sister.

Being a parent is incredibly rewarding, however, it can also be extremely exhausting. And it's ok to admit it! We do our very best to raise our children. In today's day and age, with soooo many outside sources of peer pressure, good parenting can be challenging. It is important to sometimes take a step back, breath, relax and continue. Take some "time out", go for a walk, get some exercise, pray silently. I've heard parents say they don't have time for themselves and I totally understand where they are coming from, but still, do whatever you need to do to recharge your batteries. This way, you will be a better parent! Also, remember to have lots of patience and a huge sense of humor; two things all of us parents could really use ;)
