In addition to being a newborn photographer Houston TX and surrounding areas, I also specialize in family photo sessions outdoor. Because I want to be consistent in my portfolio and I want my clients to receive a gallery similar to what they see in my samples, I only photographer in my preferred locations. That will ensure families know what to expect.

Loving family

A lot of times, I get requests to schedule a session in the middle of the day around 12 noon. I will never photograph at this time, especially if it is a sunny day with absolutely no clouds. Why? Because in photography, everything is about lighting. When the sun is very bright, it will give harsh shadows that are not flattering. If it is a family with a baby, the babies will normally close their eyes, just like many adults will.

The best times for family photos, is either early in the morning, or late in the afternoo. These times are what photographers call, The Golden Hour. Portraits taken at these times are absolutely gorgeous!
