Newborn Photographer Cypress TX, Summer

If you live in Houston, or anywhere around it... Spring, Tomball, Cypress, which are the areas I’m close to... you already know that Summer means HEAT, humidity and ponytails for those with longer hair! We can’t change those things, but we can decide to do things and plan activities around the scorching heat. What is your families favorite thing to do during the summer?

My personal most favorite activity is to watch my kids play in the pool while I sip on a really cold drink. I love munching on ice, so that helps keep me hydrated (although my husband can’t stand to hear the munching, lol). I’ll have watermelon and popsicles handy for my children. At this stage, my kids being 9, 16, 21, 22, 23, they are old enough to have fun in the pool, play, jump and know when to come out whenever they need to. They are also old enough to help keep an eye on each other. At home, the rule is that no matter what, nobody is allowed in the pool alone. If someone wants to go in the pool, they must always tell someone else first, no matter how good of a swimmer they might be. This is very important because an accident can happen at any given moment. Safety is always first!
