For all families with school-aged kids, we did it!!! We have survived an entire year of homeschooling, virtual school or in person/brick and mortar, or a combination of all of those during a worldwide pandemic. Our kids, the teachers, and every single parent deserves incredible recognition for keeping our sanity and our safety during a crazy year!

Out of my 5 kids, the two youngest are still in school; one is a 10th grader and the other is a 4th grader. They struggled in the beginning of the pandemic. I was determined to take on the “teacher” role. Let me tell you, being a teacher and a mom, is not easy...at least in my case. I truly admire all teachers because their job is very challenging. I admire them.

Generations from now, kids will be reading and learning about 2020-2021 Covid pandemic in their history class. We have made history! We have lived through struggling times and we have grown and become stronger.
