“Something good always comes out of something not so good”. This is a phrase I’ve learned from my husband. In difficult times, he’s always reminding me of this. It is true. A lot of it must be based on perspective and ones view of certain life events.

A very recent and still present situation is Covid. This is a virus that has impacted the entire world! Many people have had to adjust their way of living, their way of working and interacting with others in order to keep safe. Children have spent many months learning a new way to learn. Many babies are not able to visit and get to know family members.

On the other hand, parents are spending more time together, parents are a lot more involved in their children’s academic, many parents have been able to stay home working. In addition, families might be saving a lot on gas because of not having to drive to work every day. These are all good and positive things that have come about since Covid started.

As parents, it is our responsibility to teach our children from when they are newborns, that things can always be looked at in a positive way.
