Did you know that a child's photograph in a home will increase that child's self esteem and self worth?

A recent study conducted by Pennsylvania State University found that children whose parents displayed photographs in their home grow up with greater confidence and sense of belonging. It makes them feel special and valued in addition to a rich understanding of where they come from.

The study also found that photographs support learning; they help build trust and reassurance from happy moments captured and "frozen" in time. The research shows this is primarily seen when the photographs are displayed in the child's home. Since a child's primary source of comfort is her family, photographs help connect to family.

Having been a professional photographer for many years, I get to see so many children grow up, year after year. Seeing their smiles and being able to capture so many beautiful moments in a child's life brings satisfaction.
A great idea for growing families is a collage wall. Start when children are small...babies. Then build the collage as your child gets bigger. Doing this will give your child a visual of how much they can achieve and grow.

Are you expecting? Is it time to update your family portraits? Would you like to add to your collage wall? I would love to help you design the perfect art to fill your home. Contact us today.
