Being the mom who carries the camera all the time, obv obviously, im never in any pictures myself. So guess what? I actually schedulled a photo session with a sweet colleague photographer. I now know first hand the process my own clients go through prior to their photo session with me.

As you probably already know, I have 5 children, ages 10, 16, 22, 23, 24. It is no secret that at my childrens ages, I can’t control their wardrobe or lay out their clothes to wear. It wasn’t easy finding coordinating outfits that I was certain would work well. But we did it! The images all turned out beautiful! Its wonderful to finally have updated pitcures of me with my children, of me with my husband, of my husband with the kids, and the best part… I didn’t have to edit, my cool colleague did all the work!! Ahh, it really is a good feeling! I now know how awesome it is for my clients to experience the thrill of waiting to see their pictures and how exciting it is to order prints and to bring so much more value to your house by decorating it with beautiful, memorable family pictures!

I am now committed, just as so many of the families that I photograph, to continue the tradition of updating my family portraits each and every year.
